The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) was established in 2011 by the Sutton Trust in partnership with Impetus, with a £125 million grant from the Department for Education. The EEF is the government-designated What Works Centre for Education.

As a founding partner, we work closely with the EEF to support young people to succeed at school. For example, in response to the covid-19 pandemic, we worked in partnership to design and roll out of the first year of the National Tutoring Programme, including a support programme for tuition partners delivering quality tutoring to 250,000 young people.
