We find, fund and build high potential organisations supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed in school, work and life.

We give these organisations long-term, unrestricted funding, and manage co-investment partnerships for them with individual donors. But we are more than a funder. Our backing comes with hands-on support from our experienced Investment team and network of pro bono experts, deepening our partners' impact, upskilling their leadership and helping them achieve sustainable growth.

Through our Attainment round, we seek to work with organisations:

Working to improve school attainment outcomes for underserved students in mainstream schools
Supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to secure expected standard in their SATs and/or GCSE Grade 4 in English and/or maths

Skills

Launching soon.

Through our Skills round, we seek to work with organisations supporting young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) into sustained employment through skills.

Youth employment

To support young people to find work or develop work-related skills
Primarily with young people from ethnic minority and socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds

Reducing exclusions, improving school engagement and raising attainment

Through this grant round, we want to partner with organisations working to:

Improve school engagement and reduce exclusions and lost learning for students in mainstream schools
And/or improve engagement and/or attainment outcomes for children who have been excluded from school

Youth employment and race equity

This grant funds impact-led organisations supporting young people from both ethnic minority and socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds into work.

Social and emotional learning (SEL)

Through this grant round, we want to partner with organisations working to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds develop the social and emotional skills they need to succeed at school.
